In August of 1999 I paddled down this far as part of my expedidion to explore Del Norte County.
The Redwood Creek valley, where the National Parks system has a visitors
center on the beach.
Freshwater Lagoon, the only place left in California where RV's can camp for free.
The "campground" is a strip of sand between the highway and the ocean.
Freshwater Rocks, where I plan to launch from next year to continue the quest.
