I planned to do another section of the California Coast this year, continuing south from where Konstantin and I landed several years ago. I planned this trip out thoroughly long beforehand; Printing maps of all the coastline we would pass. Printing pictures of potential camping spots from the California Coastal Records WEB site. Printing tides for the time we would be on the water. Checking where we could stop and get drinking water. Calling places like Vandenburg and Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant and talking to them about their regulations for offshore vessels. Printing weather forecasts. Planning my meals. Planning how to shuttle the truck several different ways, Etc. etc. etc. We drove down to my sister Margie’s house on August 2nd and stayed at her house.
